Today a District Level Committee on Border Area Development Programme was held at DC Conference Hall, Mamit on the agenda of Annual Action Plan for the year 2020 - 2021. The meeting was chaired by District Level Committee Chairman Dr. Lalrozama, Deputy Commissioner in the District. The Committee was also attended by Pu Lalrintluanga Sailo, Deputy Govt. Deputy Chief Whip, Dampa AC MLA which is under W. Phaileng RD Block. It was also attended by Er. H. Lalzirliana, Mamit AC MLA which falls under Zawlnuam RD Block.

The various plans proposal for the year 2020-2021 was discuss in detail with reports being heard from the BDOs of W. Phaileng and Zawlnuam. The plan proposal mainly focuses on roads infrastructure development in the vicinity of border areas connecting rural settlement. It also plans construction of Playground, Community Centres and Skill Development Activities.

The meeting was attended by District Level Committee Members.
