Lawngtlai, the 12th April, 2021: A meeting on Familiarisation Exercise (Famex) to be conducted at Lawngtlai by 1st Batallion National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) was held today under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Lawngtlai Pi Marilyn Rualzakhumthangi at her office chamber.

The Familiarisation Exercise is scheduled to be conducted during 27th April to 4th May, 2021. Community awareness programmes by means of lecture/demonstration, familiarisation of area and updation of resource inventory, etc. will be carried out during the Exercise.

A team consisting of 20 personnel from 1st Bn NDRF currently based at 5th Bn IR camp, Lungverh will come to conduct the Exercise.
