202/2025-2026
Aizawl, 22nd August 2025: The Mizoram State Policy Coordination Committee, chaired by Pu Lalduhoma, Chief Minister, held a meeting today at the CM’s Conference Hall. The meeting reviewed the activities carried out under the pilot phase and discussed preparations for the second phase, which is expected to open for applications from 20th September 2025.
Under the Loan Component of the Pilot Phase, a total of 11,439 applications were received, of which 668 were approved and sanctioned, while 62 applications remain under further scrutiny. Hence, the number of beneficiaries under the pilot phase is still subject to change. Meanwhile, 58 DPRs (Detailed Project Reports) are being prepared in collaboration with MKVIB.
Dr. K.C. Lalmalsawmzauva, Adviser to the Chief Minister, presented the overall framework for the second phase. A new Bana Kaih Loan Component Software has been developed. Once the required data is entered, the software can automatically generate DPRs, saving significant time previously spent on DPR preparation and verification.
Applications will be categorized into five trade sectors. Chief Minister’s Special Package will be able to submit their own applications online, through Common Service Centres (CSC), or by hard copy. Applications will be accepted not only at the DC offices but also at the BDO offices.
Since a new application portal and revised forms will be launched for the second phase, all applicants must reapply afresh when the portal opens on 20th September 2025.
It was emphasized that there will be no waiting list, and every application received must undergo verification. A stronger monitoring mechanism has also been put in place, along with plans to launch intensive awareness campaigns.
