My dear people of Mizoram, Chibai!
I greet you all on the happy occasion of Chapchar Kut 2022. Although it is unfortunate that we cannot celebrate this Festival on a grand scale due to the pandemic, I am certain that the spirit of Chapchar Kut is alive in all our hearts.
It is my desire that we will continue to uphold our traditional values of always being ready to help others (tlawmngaihna), being honest and trustworthy (rinawmna), and respecting our elders (aia upa zah). I appreciate our strong sense of community, and I am sure that we will continue to maintain our valuable peace and social harmony.
I wish all the people of Mizoram a very happy Chapchar Kut!
