Completed Project

Mizoram has completed four projects aimed at community empowerment, adventure tourism, cultural promotion, and historical preservation:

1. Workshop on Community Based Tourism (CBT) Development at Aizawl, Langlei, and Saiha

With a project cost of ₹9.00 lakh, this workshop has completed on 14th August 2025. The initiative aims to empower and enable local communities to actively engage in tourism enterprises. It seeks to enhance income opportunities for diverse local groups including entrepreneurs, NGOs, youth clubs, women’s self-help groups, artisans, farmers, musicians, and cultural clubs. The project also intends to increase the competitiveness of Mizoram’s tourism market by offering unique and authentic local experiences, while identifying, promoting, and developing tourism products and services that are integrated into the value chain, ensuring benefits remain within the community.
