Mizoram Government announces 7 days of State Mourning for former President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee

Aizawl, the 1 September 2020 : The Mizoram Government in an official communication late last night expressed its profound sorrow at the untimely demise of former President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The Government has announced 7 days of State Mourning (31 Aug. to 6 Sep.) as a mark of respect for the departed leader. The National Flag will be flown at half mast on all buildings where it is flown regularly and no official entertainment will be held during this period.
