Model Code of Conduct enforced for Zemabawk West Local Council Bye-Election

5th March, 2026 : In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Mizoram Municipalities (Election to Local Councils) Rules, 2015 as amended, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby orders that Model Code of Conduct is enforced within VII/5 – Zemabawk West Local Council area with immediate effect till the Close of Poll on 25^th Marc, 2026
