Aizawl, the 18^th February 2025 : A partnership agreement to organize Aizawl International Half Marathon 2025 in Aizawl was signed between Sports & Youth Services Department and Innovations India Pvt Ltd in the presence of Sports Minister Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar and senior officials of the Department at the Directorate of Sports & Youth Services, MINECO Aizawl. The agreement was signed by Pu Lalramsanga Sailo, Secretary, Sports & Youth Services on behalf of the Department and by Cap. Rahul Bali of Innovations India Pvt Ltd.

Speaking on the occasion, the Sports Minister outlined the preparatory steps that would be taken for organizing the Half Marathon such as identification of the route, the participants expected, the sponsorships and technical association with Athletics Federation of India for planning and recognition of the proposed event. He also noted that the Marathon would help popularize health, sports and fitness further and also help put Mizoram on the Marathon Map of the country.

A Press Meet followed the signing of the partnership where Innovations India and the representative of Mizoram Athletics Association answered queries regarding the proposed event.
