The Mizoram Youth Commission Chairman Dr Vanlaltanpuia had a meeting with Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, Minister for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and discussed ways to make good use of the skilled and unskilled youth in Mizoram.

Dr Vanlaltanpuia conveyed to the Union Minister that the Mizoram Youth Commission utmost purpose is to find suitable livelihood for the talented youth of the state and make use of their skills and talent in a more productive way. The Union Minister Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey express his eagerness in working with the MYC chairman in utilizing the talent and skills of the youth in finding suitable employment. The MYC Chairman also meet Mr Sanjay Rastogi, IAS, Development Commissioner and Deputy Development Commissioner KC Shakdwipee among other officials from Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India and had a talh on the role of mizo youth in the handloom and textile sector of the state. Besides handloom the chairman also elaborates on generating employment through Muga silk development, Music, Fashin, Sports, Banboo and craft with aid from Ministry of Textiles.
