04.08.2023: Notice issued by Hr. & Technical Education Department, Govt. of Mizoram regarding Spot Round Counseling:

 

Spot Round Counseling for allotment of the vacant Degree in Engineering and Architecture (if any) seats after the 2nd round of seat allotment by CSAB-NEUT 2023 will be conducted from 10:00 AM onwards on the 10th  to 14th  August 2023 in the examination Hall-I (Basement 2) of the Technical Wing of Higher & Technical Education Office, Chaltang, Lily Veng.

 

All interested candidates who have appeared JEE(main) 2023 and have secured minimum of 45% (40% for ST/SC) and 50% marks in Class XII examination for Engineering and Architecture respectively, as mentioned in the Information Brochure of CSAB-NEUT 2023 are eligible to participate in the counseling.

 

However, candidates who have been allotted seat in the 1st and 2nd round are to invariably withdraw their seats by logging into their account in the CSAB web-portal i.e. https://csab.nic.in during the 5th to 7th August, 2023 to be eligible to participate in the Spot Round.

 

Furthermore, legal action may be taken against those allotted candidates who by all means fail to withdraw their seats and/or not taking admission to the allotted Institute within the stipulated time; which results in loss/waste of the Mizoram State Quota seats.

 

Interested candidate should submit their willingness to participate in the spot round by obtaining a prescribed form (at the cost of Rs. 10/-) from the office of the Joint Director (Technical), Chaltlang, Lily Veng on or before 5:00PM of 8th August, 2023 (Tuesday).

 

The original copies of the following documents are to be brought for verification at the time of the Physical Spot round:

1. Birth Certificate

2. Tribal Certificate/OBC/SC

3. Class X Marksheet & Certificate

4. Class XII Marksheet & Certificate

5. JEE (Main) Admit Card

6. JEE (Main) Score Card

7. Migration Certificate

8. Residential Certificate

9. Parents appointment letter (For Cat-III &IV)

10. Father's Voter ID

11. Mother's Vote ID

12. Transfer Certificate 

 

The selection shall be made on the basis of the merit list of the registered candidates based on the score of JEE (main), 2023 and as per the Reservation Policy of the state.
