Aizawl the 14th August, 2026: In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 33 read with the relevant provisions of the Mizoram Municipalities (Election to Local Councils) Rules, 2015, and in connection with the ensuing Local Council By-Election, 2026, Er. Lalhriatpuia, District Municipal Election Officer, Aizawl District, hereby requisitions all the premises specified in the Annexure to this Order, which have been designated as Polling Stations for the conduct of the said Local Council By-Election, 2026, together with the available infrastructure and facilities required for election purposes.

The requisitioned premises shall remain under requisition from 19th August, 2026 to 20th August, 2026 and shall be used for the accommodation of Polling Officials, safe custody of EVMs and other election materials, and as Polling Stations for the conduct of poll on 20th August, 2026.

All Heads of Institutions/Departments concerned, occupiers and custodians of the requisitioned premises are hereby directed to make the premises available during the above-mentioned period and to provide all necessary facilities for the smooth and orderly conduct of the election.
