Lawngtlai, 15th April 2026: The Deputy Commissioner, Lawngtlai District hereby issues the following Order regarding District Level Monitoring Cell

ORDER

No. A. 48011/6/2025(FCS)-DC (LTI) : In supersession of this Office Order of Government Notification vide No. B. 12013/11/2025- FCS&CA DATED 1.4.2026. District Level Monitoring Cell for Lawngtlai District is hereby re- constituted comprising the following members.

Chairman : Deputy Commissioner
Member Secretary: DCSO, Lawngtlai
Members : 1. Inspector, Legal Metrology Department, Lawngtlai
2. Manager, Khuma Gas Agent, Lawngtlai
3.Manager, B. Sangchema Filling Station, L- III
4. President, Consumer Association, Lawngtlai

Terms of Reference

The Cells shall perform the following functions:-

1. Monitor the stock position, supply and distribution of LPG cylinders and POL within the District.

2. Ensure smooth and uninterrupted supply of LPG and POL to consumers, particularly to priority institutions such as Hospitals and Educational institutions.

3. Prevent and monitor instances of hording, black marketing and pilferage of LPG cylinders and POL.

4. Coordinate with Oil Marketing Companies, LPG distributors and POL Dealers and district authorities to adress any supply disruption or logistical issues.

5. Submit periodic report to the Government regarding LPG and POL stock positions and highlight any issues requiring intervention.
