Mizoram  Art & Culture Minister PC Zoram Sangliana visited Victoria Memorial Hall, Kolkata and had a meeting with Victoria Memorial Hall Director Dr. Chittaranjan Panda today.

P.C. Zoram Sangliana and Dr. Chittaranjan Panda today made an agreement to publish, in the International Market, Mizo History and Mizo Who's Who in  English and Hindi printed in International Standard Press. The Victoria Memorial Hall authority also agreed to reprint adequate copies of  5 selected Mizo books of  Tribal Research Insitute and to sponsor the Cheraw Troupe in Victoria Memorial Hall this year. Victoria Memorial Hall Trust will also give funds for construction of Anthropological Museum in Mizoram and will send technical experts shortly. It was also decided to have a painting competition in Aizawl in September 2010.
