Aizawl, the 23rd March 2023: Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati was apprised of the State Finances Audit Report(SFAR) 2021-2022 at the Raj Bhavan today. Pu L. Hangsing, Principal Accountant General, his Deputy AG Pi Elvina Lalmuanpuii Leivon, and other senior officials represented the PAG Office of Mizoram in this meeting.

The Report was yet to be laid before the Legislature and subsequently discussed by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). As per the latest information (December 2022), the SFARS till the year ended March 2020 has been discussed by the PAC.

This Report(SFAR - 2021-2022) is an audit comment on the State's Annual Finance and Appropriation Accounts prepared as per the mandate given by Article 151 of the Constitution of India.

The objective of the SFAR is to help the State Government to analyze and assess - Budgetary position, Long-term fiscal sustainability, Reliability of fiscal indicators, and Quality of Accounts and Financial reporting.
