Aizawl 18th July 2022: Election to the office of the 16th President of India was successfully held in the Committee Room, Main building, Mizoram Legislative Assembly, with all 40 MLAs of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly casting their votes today.

The first MLA to cast the vote was Pu Lalchhuanthanga at 10:15 AM and Dr. K. Pachhunga was the last MLA to vote at 1:05 PM. 

Lok Sabha MP Pu C.Lalrosanga and Rajya Sabha MP Pu K. Vanlalvena also cast their votes successfully today at the Parliament House in New Delhi.
