Prize distribution ceremony of the online photography competition organised by the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department in collaboration with the Mizoram Photographers’ Society (MPS) was held today at the office chamber of the I&PR Director Pi Lallianpuii. The online contest was held during the month of September and October, 2020 in which 91 entries were received from 35 participants

The Director stated that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the department wished to promote young and talented visual artists, and  the organisers of this event, therefore, chose to conduct the contest through online mode. She thanked all the participants, juries and members of the Mizoram Photographers’ Society for their cooperation and dedication.

The competition was divided into three segments such as - Landscape, Colours and Monochrome

Winners in the landscape category are:-

1st prize- Zarzoliana, Chhinga Veng

2nd prize- Hminga Hmar, Armed Veng

3rd prize - Lalsiamkima, Ramhlun North

Winners in the Colours category are:-

1st- Rinmawia Renthlei, Ramhlun North

2nd prize - MS Dawngliana, Chanmari

3rd prize - Benjamin Lalhruaitluanga, Bawngkawn

Winners in the Monochrome category are:-

1st prize - C. Rothangliana, Tuikual

2nd prize- F.Lalhmingmawia, Chanmari

3rd prize - C.Vanlalchhanhima, Pangzawl
