Mamit 16th October, 2020 : Whereas, one organisation namely SONGRONGMA of Tripura had intended to construct a Shiv Mandir at Thaidawr Tlang which is located within Mamit District, Mizoram on 19th & 20th October, 2020.

And whereas, this has been planned without the permission of the Govt.of Mizoram and is against the interest of the local community and could harm peace and tranquility in the region.

And now, whereas, Dr. Lalrozama, IAS, District Magistrate, Mamit District also of the opinion that it is necessary to prohibit people from assembling in groups to prevent any untoward incident which is likely to disrupt or adversely effect peace and tranquility prevailing in the region.

And whereas, Dr. Lalrozama satisfied that there are sufficient grounds for drawing a proceeding under section 144 CrPC (Act OF 1973), *He hereby prohibit any assembly of five or more persons in the village and surrounding areas of Phuldungsei Zampui and Zomuantlang, Mamit District, Mizoram.*

This order shall come into force from 16th October, 2020 and shall remain in force until further orders.

This order shall not be applicable in case of law enforcing agencies viz, Magistrate, Police Personnel and any other persons who are lawfully engaged in the maintenance of law and order.

Any violation of this order will be dealt with under Section 188 of IPC.
