Public Holiday for all Government Servants within Durtiang Leitan, ITI Veng and Zemabawk Local Councils areas on election day

Aizawl, the 18th April 2023: Under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, the Government of Mizoram declared the 19th April, 2023(Wednesday) as Public Holiday for all Government Servants including employees under Central/State Public Undertakings, Educational Institutions and Banking Institutions within 1/4-Durtiang Leitan, XVIII/8- ITI Veng and VII/1 - Zemabawk Local Councils within Aizawl Municipality to enable the voters to exercise their franchise in the By-Elections to the aforementioned Local Councils.
