A review meeting was conducted in the presence of the Central Prabhari Officer for Mamit aspirational district on 29th August, 2019 at Reiek Tourism Hall which was chaired by Dr C Lalrozama, IAS, DC Mamit and attended by Chief Secretary Mr Lalnunmawia Chuaungo, Secretaries and Directors of the line department and several officials representing different departments of Mamit district.

Mr Dharam Pal, IAS, Central Prabhari Officer for Mamit district express his gratification on the performance of the district in several Key performance indicators and encouraged the officials of the department to work together and put more effort in areas where Key indicators were lacking behind.

Mr Lalnunmawia Chuaungo, Chief Secretary also urged the official of the district department to work in tandem in order to tackle the problems in the district so as to get feasible result which will be reflected in the key performance indicators at much faster pace.

The review meeting primarily focus on five major composite indicators, namely, Health & Nutrition occupying 30% of the total composite indicator with 31 indicator points, Education another 30% with 8 indicator points, Agriculture & Water Resources 20% with 10 indicators points, Basic Infrastucture 10% with 7 indicator points and Financial inclusion & Skill development 10% with 11 indicator points, altogether 49 Key performance indicators with 81 data points. Niti Aayog publishes Delta ranking for the month of July 2019 where Mamit district stood at 37th position out of 115 district from whole of India. Mamit district bagged 1st delta ranking in Education and 5th in Financial Inclusion & Skill development in the month of July 2019.
