Officials of the Government of Mizoram led by Chief Secretary Dr. Renu Sharma took the 'Sadbhavana Pledge' this morning in the courtyard of the Mizoram Secretariat Building, MINECO, Aizawl.

'Sadbhavana Diwas' is observed nation-wide on 20th August annually but as it falls on a Sunday this year, Sadbhavana Pledge taking was organised today, ie. 18th August, 2023 (Friday) in all Government Offices under the Mizoram State Government.

Sadbhavana Diwas is to promote National Integration and Communal Harmony among people of all religions, languages and regions. The idea behind the observance of this Day is to shun violence and to uphold goodwill among the people.
