As a part of  on- going drives and observance of Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Mission), ICDS, Siaha held School based activities at GHSS, Siaha, today.

This activities aims at imparting the habit of  hygenic practices in the daily lives of the students and making them aware of what is  good nutrition, nutritional values and contents in our daily diets as well.

Concerned Departments' officials from PHE, Health & Family Welfare Department , ICDS , Students and Lecturers of GHSS participated in this School Based activities.

Shri.C. Lalnunfela, CDPO, Siaha conducted the programme   and Resource Person Shri.Heibikliana Thangtu, District Co-ordinator, Poshan Abhiyaan, Siaha delivered Lectures on Nutrition.

Er. N.T Jervis-a, SDO (M), PHE, Siaha spoke on  Sanitation and Smt. Lalngilneihi, Health Worker Supervisor & Smt. Lalhriatpuii Hmar, Health Worker taught the proper method of  Hand Washing to the students.

 Smt. C. Roluahpuii, District Lead, Swasth Prerak administered an oath to the gathering audiances to carry forward the awareness of good nutrition to the general public in whatever way possible in their own capacity and spheres best.
