A Self Help Group (SHG) Credit Camp was held at Reiek Convention Hall, Tourist Resort wherein 43 SHG were Sanctioned Rs 45,00,000/- (45 lacs).

Reiek BDO Pu Ngurthansanga, the Chief Guest of the Programme elaborated the various Central Schemes which are meant for the upliftment of women. He also urged the women members from the SHG to voluntarily stay vigil and play active role in the activities of development Schemes so that the schemes are implemented and executed to the fullest extent for the benefits of the people.

Pi C. Lalthlamuani, Branch Manager, MRB Reiek also dissertated about the Insurance schemes and Bank Loan systems which are note worthy for the SHG Members. She also mentioned that her Bank had already Sanctioned Loans to 49 SHG in the block. She also happily added that under MRB Reiek Branch, Non Performing Asset (NPA) has not been experienced till date and she was hinting at her willingness to Sanction more Loans for the SHGs under MzSRLM.

Members from the SHG shared their testemony of success story in the Programme with all the other participants such as Village Council leaders, NGOs, Bank representatives etc who were present in the function.
