A sensitization meeting on NABARD initiated Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) and Dairy Processing & Infrastructure Development Fund (DIDF) was held today under the aegis of Agriculture Minister Pu C. Lalrinsanga who also hold the portfolio of Cooperative Department at RCS Meeting Hall at Babutlang.

Pu C. Lalrinsanga mentioned though agriculture in the country is being revamped through various schemes and interventions. He said the AIF has a huge scope to further the development of agriculture through post harvest management and the stakeholders i.e. the farmers, cooperative societies and implementing Departments must be well informed about this Fund. He noted that cooperative movement can help in economic growth and progress.

At the meeting officers of NABARD made presentations on AIF and DIDF and answered queries from the Cooperative Department on these Funds.
