Dated Serchhip, the 14th June, 2021: A joint meeting of Serchhip District Disaster Management Authority and various Covid19 enforcement stakeholders within Serchhip town was held today at DC meeting hall to discuss various new guidelines issued by the State Executive Committee.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Kumar Abhishek, IAS, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DDMA, Serchhip. He thanked all the stakeholders for their tireless efforts for the prevention of Covid19 in Serchhip and that because of their hard work, there have been no positive cases in Serchhip District for some time and that the district stands in a good position today. Due to the better situation in the district, the meeting resolved to increase the opening hours and days of different shops and stores this week. The guidelines for the market opening based on their discussion shall be issued by the Deputy Commissioner.
