Lawngtlai, 16th October 2026 : The inauguration programme of ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026’, under PM DA-JGUA (Pradhan Mantri Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan), was held today at the courtyard of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Lawngtlai. The programme was inaugurated by Pu Collin Hlychho, SDO (S).

Addressing the gathering, Pu Collin Hlychho extended his greetings and expressed his hope that the initiative would be beneficial to the public. He stated that ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026’ is an important initiative of the Government of India aimed at making it easier for people to access various government departments and avail themselves of public services. He expressed confidence that the initiative would greatly benefit the people.

The SDO (S) also urged officials of various departments to recognise their responsibility as public service providers and make every effort to address the needs and grievances of the people effectively.

As part of ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026’, the following departments have set up service counters at the courtyard of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Lawngtlai, to enable the public to access government services more conveniently:

1. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department: Ration Card and other related services.

2. Chief Medical Officer (CMO): Mizoram Universal Health Care Scheme (MUHCS) and other related services.

3. Lead Bank: Opening of bank accounts and other banking services.

4. Agriculture Department: PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi and other related services.

5. Deputy Commissioner’s Office: New Aadhaar and PAN Card enrolment and updating of existing details.

The initiative aims to facilitate easier access to various government services and help people avail themselves of the benefits of government schemes through the participating departments.
