Aizawl the 23rd May, 2025 : The Provisional results of all candidates for the State Medical and Technical Entrance Examination (SMATEE) 2025, conducted by the Mizoram State Council for Technical Education (MSCTE) on 25" April, 2025 (Friday), are hereby published in order of merit, regardless of category. The results are also available on the website: https://dhte.mizoram.gov.in. Any complaints concerning the SMATEE 2025 provisional results should be submitted to the Joint Director (Technical), Technical Wing, H&TE, Chaltlang, Aizawl, within one week from the date of publication. The final results will be released after addressing any complaints received.

The final answer keys of SMATEE 2025 was published vide office order No. 45011/2/2025-JDT(HTE)/9 dated Aizawl, the 2" May, 2025 after attending minor challenges submitted by some individual stakeholders.

The order of merit list has been prepared with specific tie-break rules for cases where candidates achieve equal total marks. These rules are as follows:

  1. Candidates with higher marks in Biology will be ranked higher.
  2. If the marks in Biology are equal, the candidates' marks in Chemistry will be used to determine their rank.
  3. If the marks in both Biology and Chemistry remain equal, the candidates' marks in Physics will be considered to establish their rank.
  4. If the marks in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics are still equal, preference will be given to the older candidates.
  5. If a resolution cannot be reached after applying the criteria in (a),  (b), (c), and (d), the tied candidates will receive the same rank.

The OMR answer sheets for SMATEE 2025 have been graded by machine, and as a result, applications for re-evaluation or re-checking will not be entertained. However, a provision is available to obtain a photocopy of the OMR answer sheets, subject to the conditions outlined in clause 12 of the Information Brochure. The date and time for online choice filling will be announced on the official website, https://dhte.mizoram.gov.in, in due course.
