404/2026-2027

Kolasib, 1st October, 2026: The District Election Officer (DEO) of Kolasib has announced that a Special Enrollment Drive will be actively conducted by Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Booth Level Officers (BLOs). This initiative is part of the continuous enrollment and updation phase following the recent Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls in the district.

To ensure strict accuracy and transparency in the voter list, the DEO informed that BLOs will systematically compare the newly published SIR Electoral Roll with the Pre-SIR Electoral Roll across their respective polling stations. In instances where voters' names have been deleted, the concerned BLOs will personally verify and record the specific reasons for these deletions. This meticulous verification process is designed to maintain proper documentation and facilitate any further necessary administrative action.

The District Administration strongly encourages the general public to take full advantage of the ongoing continuous enrollment and updation process. All eligible citizens are urged to utilize this period for new voter enrollment or to make any necessary corrections to their existing electoral details.
