Aizawl, the 1stMay 2021 : In supersession of an earlier notification regarding constitution of Task Group on Quarantine Facilities, the State Executive Committee, State Disaster Management Authority, Mizoram yesterday notified afresh, the constitution of this Task Force with Commissioner/Secretary, Higher & Technical Education/ Commerce & Industries Department as Chairman; Director, Tourism Department as Member Secretary and Director, School Education, Mission Director, National Health Mission and Deputy Director, Tourism as Members.
According to the notification the terms of reference of the Task Force are
1. To identify suitable quarantine facilities and assess their condition to be requisitioned by concerned DCs/DDMAs as per requirement
2. Suggest measures for improvement of such quarantine facilities
3. Suggest measures/SOPs to be followed at quarantine facilities
4. To look into other matters connected with the operation of quarantine facilities and to suggest any matters connected thereto
5. To liase with DCs/DDMAs for identification and management of quarantine facilities outside Aizawl City and to oversee the arrangement and management of such facilities by the concerned DCs
