A tripartite virtual Meeting of DCs from Mamit, Karimganj and Hailakandi  Districts was held through video Conferencing in connection to upcoming General Election to Assam Assembly.

DCs from Karimganj and Hailakandi sought help from Mamit DC and SP for peaceful conduct of the coming Assam Assembly Election and intensify checks of illegal traffic of drugs and liqour. They also urged Mamit DC to extend information and support to maintain peace and tranquility in Assam during the Election process in Assam.

DC Mamit assured necessary support whereever possible to make the election process end smoothly.

The Meeting was accompanied by SPs and other officials from the three Districts.
