Training of Booth Level Officers (BLO) in preparation for the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Roll 2020 was organized today at DIPRO Conference Hall, Kolasib for 87 BLOs from Kolasib, Serlui and Tuirial Assembly Constituency. The training was graced by Mrs Sangchhin Chinzah, District Election Officer & Deputy Commissioner, Kolasib.

Mrs Sangchhin Chinzah highlighted on the crucial role of BLO as they are in the grass root level in the preparation of a reliable Electoral Roll, which is one of the most important tools in the machinery of Democracy. Mrs Sangchhin pointed out that BLO from Kolasib district has been awarded the best BLO from the state and also urged all the BLOs to make the training an interactive and productive session.

Kolasib Election Officer Mr Vanlalchhuanawma delivers training on Electoral Roll & Revision Processes, Duty of BLO, AERO, ERO & Data Operators and Mr Neng Thianlala, BDO Bilkhawthlir presented lecture on the functions of BLOs in ERONET/BLONet. 88 BLOs from Kolasib, Serlui and Tuirial Assembly constituency attended the training.
