Aizawl, July 10, 2025: The State Institute for Transformation, Mizoram under Planning & Programme Implementation Department, in collaboration with LushAI Tech Pvt. Ltd., organized a one-day workshop on “AI for Government: Fundamentals, Tools and Responsible Implementation” at the P&PID Conference Hall.

Officials from P&PID, MISTIC, MSUM, Department of Economics & Statistics, and UD&PA participated in the training, which covered key AI topics including fundamentals, generative AI, hands-on tools, and responsible use.

In his inaugural address, the Secretary, P&PID, Mr. Lalmalsawma Pachuau stated, “AI can be a force multiplier that helps us perform our duties more efficiently, but it must be used responsibly to ensure ethical and effective governance.”
