TREE PLANTATION ON WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

Mamit 5th June, 2021 : Mamit DFO and staff planted trees alongside NH 44 A in the vicinity of Zongaw forest reserve to mark and observe World Environment Day, 2021.

The theme for 2021 World Environment Day is "Ecosystem Restoration" said DFO Mamit Mr. PC Lalchhandama who encouraged his staff to plant more trees wherever possible for the convervation of our planet.

DFO Mamit and his staff planted not less than 60 tree saplings and also made efforts for the previous year tree saplings planted by them conducive their survival.
