TREES PLANTATION

26 Assam Rifles in collaboration with Young Mizo Association, Aizawl carried out plantation of trees in areas of 26 Assam Rifles at Zodin Square, Aizawl on 21 June 2011 to celebrate Green Mizoram Day. Children from various schools also participated in the event. This kind gesture of the Assam Rifles will go a long way in improving the environmental standards of the local area.
