Aizawl, the 8th December 2021: As a part of the continuing celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Dr K. Bechhua, Minister of State, Social Welfare & Tribal Affairs Department inaugurated Tribal Art & Craft Festival at Mc Cabe Hall, Aijal Club, today.

The event is jointly sponsored and organised by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India in collaboration with the Social Welfare & Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Mizoram. The 4 days long festival will showcase the works of painters, weavers and other local artisans. During these 4 days of the festival, the items on display will be available for purchase and the venue will be opened to visitors from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
