A two days long annual training for Registrar of Birth & Death (RBD) within Serchhip district is being organised at Serchhip District Research Office hall and Pi Sangchhin Chinzah, Deputy Commissioner graced the second day (today) as chief guest.

In her speech, Pi Sangchhin Chinzah give her appreciation to all RBD coming from all villages in the district and tell them that their jobs seem simple and easy  but play a major role in the building of democracy and in the pace of every development works in the country. That why, they have to have sincerity, a proper training and an updated in laws and other relevant information. She encourage them to try fully make use of their two days training going on.

Pu Lalrikhuma Sailo, Director, Economics & Statistics Department also deliver his speech before the trainee and said that Mizoram is one of a few state that can achieve hundred percent register of births and deaths today and it can be happened only by the efforts of RBDs. Since the government accepted the RBD issued certificates as official documents in every official matter, the RBD plays a crucial role in the production and maintenance of authenticated documents of the people.

Yesterday, the trainee were taught the proper way of issuing Births & Death Certificates and also distributed materials needed for them. In today training, Pu K. Zodinpuia, Data Processing Assistant presents Civil Registration System and discussion from the Registrar follows. The second day programme is chaired by Pu Manliana, DRO, Serchhip, 46 Registrar of Birth & Death and Pi Sappari, Inspector of Statistics, Pu J. Ramdinmawia, Inspector RB&D and other DRO staff attended the event.
