This morning, Pu C. Ramhluna, Vice Chairman, Industrial Development Board had  inaugurated a two-day event of  Mizo Handloom product sales at Vanapa Hall, Aizawl.  A total of 36 Handloom units, 22 from Aizawl city, 10 units from Thenzawl Town, 2 units from Sailam Village and 1 unit each from Lawngtlai town and Mualthuam Village participates at this fair.

The Monsoon Handloom Fair 2019 is a joint initiative of the Department of Commerce & Industries, Government of Mizoram and the Mizoram Handloom, Handicrafts Research & Promotion Council. Attractive handloom products and beautifully crafted handicrafts ranging from cheaper price tags to the cost of the product as high as Rs 10,000 or more were on display at this colourful event.
