Dated Serchhip, the 16th February, 2023: Shri Devusinh Chauhan Minister of State for Communication to visit Mizoram from 17th February to 20th February.

The Honourable Minister of State for Communications, Shri Devusinh Chauhan, is scheduled to visit the state of Mizoram from February 17th to February 20th, 2023. The visit is aimed at reviewing the progress of various ongoing projects of the central government in the north east states and exploring new avenues for development.

During the visit, the Minister will hold meetings with various satakeholders including state government officials, local representatives and members of the public to discuss the progress and challenges faced in the implementation of various schemes.

The visit is expected to provide the Minister with an opportunity to get a first-hand understanding of the issues faced by the people of Mizoram and the challenges that the state faces in the implementation of Central government schemes. The Minister is also expected to use this opportunity to explore ways to further enhance the reach and effectiveness of the Central Government in Mizoram.

This visit of the Minister of State for Communications to Mizoram is in line with the vision and the commitment that the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has made to the nation and it underscores the government’s effort to bridge the digital divide and ensure inclusive growth and development.
