Lawngtlai dated 23rd October 2023: Randomised allotment of Electronic Voting Machine to 181 Polling Station of Lawngtlai district was carried out today at DC Office chamber. The process was conducted in the presence of Mr. Joseph H.Lalramsanga, District Election Officer and was attended by Mr. Shyam Bihari Meena, IAS, General Observer, 38-Lawngtlai East, Mr. Srinibas Behera, IAS, General Observer, 36-Tuichawng and 37-Lawngtlai West. Returning Officers of respective Assembly Constituencies, representatives from Political parties and Nodal Officers were also present during the conduct of 2nd randomization of EVM.

There are a total of 181 Polling station in Lawngtlai district, of which 36-Tuichawng AC have 70, 37-Lawngtlai West AC have 69 and 38-Lawngtlai East have 42 Polling stations.
