LUNGLEI;the 24^th October,2023: The six observers appointed for Lunglei District for the General Election to Mizoram Legislative Assembly ;

General observers viz:

 1.Shri Satya Naryan Rathore IAS, (who is assigned 32-Lunglei West AC & 33-Lunglei South AC),

2. Shri Avadesh Kumar Tiwari IAS (who is assigned 34-Thorang AC & 35-West Tupui AC)

 3. Shri Amol Jagannath Yedge IAS (who is assigned 30-Lunglei North AC & 31-Lunglei East AC),

 Police Observer  viz:Shri M.Nanjundaswami IPS (who is assigned  the whole  district )

 Expenditure Observers viz:

 1.Shri KS Meena IRS(who is assigned 30-Lunglei North AC,31-Lunglei East AC & 32-Lunglei West AC)

 2.Shri Gaurav Awasthi IRS (who is assigned 33-Lunglei South AC,34-Thorang and 35-West Tuipui AC)

Jointly held a meeting with ROs,AROs, SP, Expenditure Monitoring team, Candidates and Election Agents, at DC Conference Hall, here in Lunglei ,today. Meeting was presided over by Smt.Ramdinliani IAS, District Election Officer, Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer for 31-Lunglei East AC.

In this occasion, Smt.Ramdinliani informed the meeting; the preparedness of Lunglei District for the upcoming Election and thanked observers for their sincere and watchful observation of the preparedness of Lunglei District for the ensuing Election, and informed the observers that no stones will left unturned in their guess for peaceful, Inclusive and Free & Fair as well. She also thanked all the Election Officials for their unflinching cooperation and dedication towards their duties.

In today’s meeting, all the observers spoke in turn and expressed in unison, their satisfaction and appreciation over the preparedness of Lunglei District for the upcoming Election and thanked all the stakeholders for giving their all-out efforts for Free & Fair Election. They also shared their findings of their few days on duty in Lunglei district, and premised on that, they gave some advice and suggestions to the Election officials, candidates and Election agents.

Observers also encouraged all the meeting’s attendees to share the problems they had encountered during their duties and raise queries if they had any doubt; and they also informed them that they can be approach any time; and a meaningful and enlightening interaction followed suit.
