The Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga today felicitated 659 successful candidates of the HSLC and HSSLC 2019 examinations held under Mizoram Board of School Education, from Aizawl East-I Assembly constituency. This programme was held at Zemabawk YMA Hall.
The Chief Minister in his speech encouraged the students to persevere in their future studies, reminding them that in spite of any hardship one may face, hard work and perseverance will see them through in the end. Pu Zoramthanga also emphasised on the importance of maintaining a healthy mind and body, reminding the students to avoid vices like drugs and alcohol which could rob them of their future success.
Today's function saw 387 successful HSLC candidates and 272 candidates from HSSLC from Aizawl East-I Constituency who were all presented an English-Mizo dictionary by the Chief Minister.
