A four-day event “The 65th National School Games Boxing U-17” begins today at R.Dengthuama Multipurpose Hall, Mualpui, Aizawl. Pu Lalchhandama Ralte, Minister of State for School Education graced the opening ceremony as chief guest, Pu L. Thangmawia, Vice-Chairman , Human Resources Development Board was also present.

Speaking at the occasion, Pu Lalchhandama Ralte welcomed participants from all over India and urged them to give their best, and also to compete in the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play.

65th National School Games 2019, Boxing under-17 (boys) will be played during November 19-22, 2019. A total of 486 participants from 36 states and units all over the country including 413 boxers and 73 officials will participate in the event which concludes on Friday.
