A meeting of the State Board for Wildlife was held this afternoon at the CM Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga.

The meeting discussed various agendas including proposal for diversion of forest land for the PHED's Alternate Gravity Water Supply Scheme at Aizawl, utilisation plan for remaining saving amount available on account of amount depot for extraction of affected tress for construction of border fencing and patrol road at Dampa Tiger Reserve, proposal for restriction of arms, and other issues.

The Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Pu TJ Lalnuntluanga, MLAs Pu Lalrinsanga Ralte and Dr. F. Lalnunmawia and other members were present in today's meeting.
