As a Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Serchhip District Task Force has been adopted every 5th of the month a monthly Girl Child Day. If there are new born girl child in Serchhip District Hospital on the falling days, the BBBP District Task Force Committee visits and gives a gift to show their welcome. The BBBP District Task Force representatives visit two new daughters today at the Hospital and welcome them with a gifts.

There are two new born baby girls presently in the District Hospital and the committee then visit those baby girls and give their welcome gifts of rupees 500 in cash and two packages of new born baby diapers to their mothers Pi Lalhlimpuii, Serchhip Vengchung and Pi Zonunmawii, Thenzawl. Pu K. Saitluanga, DIPRO Serchhip apprise the origins, aims, objectives and its implementation of BBBP before them and Pu Denny Lalchhuanawma, MCS, SDC, Nodal Officer, BBBP Serchhip district and Dr. ZD Zomuanawma, Medical Superintendent of Serchhip district Hospital handed over to the two mothers.
