ADVOCACY CAMPAIGN ON WOMAN EMPOWERMENT HELD AT TIPA TOWN

Tipa; the 24th November,2020: An Advocacy Campaign on Women Empowerment one of the significant undertakings under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme was held at MADC Hall,Tipa, today.

Shri. Lalhmingliana,SDO(C) presided over the programme and Shri.N. Chhanchunga Officer In charge Police Station, Tipa and Dr. Linda Lalbiaknungi,PHC,Tipa delivered lectures on Domestic Violence on Women and Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of sex selection) ( PCPNDT) Act, 2003 respectively.

Today's programme is well attended by leaders of women's NGOs:MChP & MHIP, Member of SHG and VO.

Smt.K.Lalthanzuali concluded today's programme with a proposal of vote of thanks.
