AFRICAN SWINE FEVER INFECTED PIGS CULLS AT SIAHA

No.73/2021-2022

Siaha; the 17th April,2021: Under the Supervision of Dr.Shahlu Khaila,DVO, AH& Vety Department,Siaha culled 4 pigs infected with ASF by gun shot, and buried them,alongwith disinfectant, in a 10feet deep dug out pit, at the premises of AH&Vety farm, here at Siaha,today.

These 4 pig were caught from T.Lallawmtluanga, Siaha Vaihpi-I, on 26th March, 2021, and blood samples taken were sent to ICAR-NIHSAD,Bhopal for Confirmatory Diagnosis, after CFS,PRRS and ASF test were already done at District Veterinary Hospital, Siaha.
