Hon'ble Minister for Agriculture, Irrigation & Water Resources, Cooperative society Govt. of Mizoram attended the farmers day celebration organised at Hriphaw village as Chief Guest and the constituency MLA Pu Lalrindika Ralte as Guest of Honour.

The program has been organised by YMA Hriphaw Branch in which it was reported that a sum corpus of more than 173 lakhs have been acquired by the sale of arecanut in the village, and a total of 23000 Kg of coffee produce have also been reportedly sold by the village in the year 2019. In the programe 12 succesful Farmers in arecanut plantation were felicitated with citation by the hon'ble minister. Also 10 farmers succesful in coffee plantation and production were awarded the same by the MLA. Two successful orange farmers were also awarded citation by agriculture Director Pu. Rohmingthanga Colney.

The programe was filled with joy and gaiety along with a community meal for all the villagers.
