Dated Champhai, the 13th April, 2021: A.H & Vety. Department, Undivided Champhai District yesterday gave out assistance to 18 Broiler Farming beneficiaries under government flagship programme, Socio-Economic Development Policy (SEDP). Beneficiaries mainly from Champhai Town and Khawbung RD Block were provided 200 chickens and monetary assistance amounting rupees Rs 29,800/- to each beneficiary.

As of now, Undivided Champhai District under Poultry rearing has a total of 37 Broiler Farming beneficiaries and 6 Rainbow Rooster Farming beneficiaries. Through first installment financial assistance amounting Rs 64,000/- was already provided to all Broiler farming beneficiaries and Rs 47,000/- to all Rainbow Rooster farming beneficiaries.
