Aizawl, the 12th October 2021 : All Mask Campaign, a 10-day public awareness campaign encouraging citizens to use face masks, which is to be observed during 11th October,2021 to 21st October,2021 was inaugurated at Chief Medical Office, Lunglei yesterday.

Dr. L.C. Liana, CMO stated "All of us have to give importance to wearing masks, washing our hands thoroughly and avoid social gatherings as much as possible during this campaign. In this way, we shall stop the spread of the virus and lower Covid-19 positive cases." He also advised the members present to always wear masks in their own workplace.

Dr.Lalrinthangi,SMO presented a brief report on Covid-19 related status of Lunglei,and stated "There are 10 COVID Care Centres & Dedicated COVID Health Centres and 23 Community Covid Care Centres. Covid19 positivity rate in the second wave is 10.99% and the total death case is 21. Citizens who have taken the 1st dose of vaccine are 93,731 and the 2nd dose of vaccine are 65,671."

The key points to be followed by citizens during the ‘All Mask Campaign’ are:
1. All citizens are requested to wear mask indoors at all times except while eating meals.
2. Citizens are requested not to dine together on a table, and have buffet meals instead.
3. All citizens are requested to wear masks at all time in their respective offices/working areas.
4. All citizens are requested to follow other CAB.
5. All citizens are requested and advised to be more mindful in hand washing and use of sanitizers.

Some of the slogans for this campaign are:
1. Wear a Face Mask so that you do not have to wear an Oxygen Mask.
2. Face Mask protects you more than you realize.
3. Wear Mask. Save Lives.
