10 Assam Rifles  got information that  arms dealbetween insurgent groups of India & Myanmar is  being planned in  general  area of  Farkwan  through  porous border of India  & Myanmar. 

Team under Capt Vaibhav Joshi lead ambush more than four times but arms dealers did not turn up.   Again getting information through own source on 01 Jul 17, an ambush was laid alongTyao river which is a border between  the two countries.  At early hours two insurgent fromMyanmar wereseen crossing Tyao river towards ownside,  when challenged by own troops ,they threwtheir bags in mid river &ran away.   Detailed search of the siteled to recovery of a bag with five AK 56 Rifles.
