The 10 Assam Rifles recently organized free medical camp at Kawlbem village under Ngopa sub division, and provided free medical check up and medicines to more than 200 people from Kawlbem and adjoining areas.
On 26 July 2010, the 23 Sector Assam Rifles also distributed 4 computer sets and furnitures to Govt. High School Mimbung under Military Civil Action (MCA) Programme OP SAMARITAN. The items were received by T. Kaihnuna Headmaster Govt. High School Mimbung.
The Assam Rifles planned to organize study tours, to provide computer sets, furnitures and sport items, to construct public toilets and to organize medical camps to various areas of the state.
